Community Advocate and Volunteer

At the age of 40, after being told I would never have children, I became pregnant with my first and only child. Considering this a true miracle, I was determined to ensure he had every opportunity in life. In 2007, I began researching the best places to raise a child.

After many hours of research, I discovered Meridian Ranch. Although it was a relatively new community at the time, I drove and flew out twice with my new baby to see it for myself. I immediately fell in love! We chose our builder and lot in 2007 and have never looked back.

Meridian Ranch has been my home and community for 18 years. I especially love the open spaces and walking paths, the parks, the recreation center, and the pools. My husband loves the golf course, so it has been a big win for our family. My son has participated in many sports programs through the rec center, and the Parents’ Night Out events were a blessing for us since we didn’t have family nearby. I’m also proud to be involved in many of our community events, and I currently serve on three Eastern Plains boards as a trusted community resource and volunteer.

I also appreciate the local shopping, where many of my friends own businesses.

Fast forward—my son graduated in 2025 from the D49 school system and still uses the recreation center about five days a week.

I live in, work in, play in, and love this community!
