The District offers a reduced water rate for new construction sod under the New Construction Sod Waiver, subject to the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:

• Property must be new construction.
• Irrigated sod area must not exceed 2,500 square feet (subject to inspection).
• Requests must be submitted within one year of the closing date.

During Stage 1 restrictions, new construction sod is limited to a 30-day waiver. After 30 days, all standard Stage 1 watering restrictions apply.

All water used during the three-month waiver period will be billed at the lowest current rate. This rate reduction is available one time per lot.
