The District Board offers a special water rate for three consecutive months for customers purchasing newly constructed homes and installing new lawns, provided the following criteria are met:
The home is newly constructed.
The amount of irrigated turf is less than 2,500 square feet (an inspection will follow the request to ensure the irrigated area is 2,500 square feet or less).
The request is made within one year of closing date.
All water used during the three consecutive months, following the installation of the new lawn, will be charged at the lowest current rate class. The special water rate is available one time only for each lot. To request a water rate reduction, please call the District office at 719-495-5152 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
