Water Wise Voluntary Restrictions Effective Immediately
Water Wise rules help us use water more responsibly.
As Colorado is a semi-arid region, water will always remain one of our most precious resources. By following these guidelines, we can maintain vibrant, healthy landscapes while also being responsible stewards of our water.
MSMD asks residents to observe the water conservation stage currently in effect, as conditions may change from time to time. Water Conservation Guidelines are available on the MSMD website. If conservation levels change, residents will be notified through community signage and updates on our website at www.MeridianService.org.
Let’s work together to use our water wisely for the benefit of our community and neighbors.
- Avoid allowing water to pool on hard surfaces or run off into gutters.
- Repair any leaking sprinkler systems immediately.
- Use a shut-off nozzle when washing vehicles, equipment, or surfaces with a hose.
- Make sure your sprinkler system is functioning properly and watering only the lawn—not sidewalks or driveways.

Meridian Ranch has sufficient water supplies to support the community’s planned growth. The Antler Creek Golf Course is irrigated with non-potable, recycled water.
Irrigation in common areas may occur at varying times but is conducted in accordance with the District's current water conservation stage.
The MSMD Board of Directors has adopted this water conservation program as part of its broader water resources management strategy. This program helps ensure reliable water supplies - especially during peak-use summer months when outdoor irrigation is at its highest.
Like many communities in Colorado, Meridian Ranch is also actively pursuing additional long-term, sustainable water sources. Through responsible water use and good stewardship, we can extend the life of our existing supplies and reduce the need for new resources and costly infrastructure expansion.
